Bricklaying Award

Course Content:

The course content is a combination of one core unit:

  • Improving own learning and performance

Plus two Specialist units from:

  • Constructing half brick wall using bricklaying skills
  • Constructing one brick wall using bricklaying skills
  • Constructing a cavity wall using bricklaying skills

The course is taught as a mixture of practical work and assignments.

Assessment:

Assessment will be continuous, based mainly on a number of practical assignments, short question/answer papers, computer generated simulations and pre-set assessments at various times throughout the course.
