Course programme
This includes learning all aspects of basic brickwork including mixing mortar, cutting components and laying bricks and blocks. Award: CC1400 Handle and Store Construction Materials and Components Certificate: CC1402 Mix Construction Materials CC1403 Cut, Lay and Fix Construction Materials CC1405 Set Out for Construction Component You will also undertake qualifications in personal and social development and functional skills. There are no formal entry requirements but applicants must have a commitment to learning. You will be interviewed for your suitability to the programme and your standard of literacy and numeracy will be assessed, to ensure you are placed at the appropriate level. You can progress to the level 2 diploma in bricklaying offered at Leeds City College (Keighley Campus).Additional information
