About this course

You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years. We highly recommend a placement year as it helps your personal and professional development through real-world experience, and enhances your career prospects on graduation. Be it a local, national or international industrial placement, you get personal and pastoral support from your allocated tutor during your placement year.Previous students have taken placements with various organisations ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multinational corporations including IBM, BMW, Boeing, DHL, Intel, Xerox, Bentley and Texas Instruments.

This must include at least 64 points from two A levels or equivalent BTEC National qualifications. For example:BBC at A Level.DMM in BTEC Extended Diploma.A combination of qualifications, which may include AS Levels, EPQ and general studies
