Minimum entry requirements at age 18 are 5 GCSEs which include Maths and English (or equivalent) and 2 'A' Levels or IATI Admissions year.

BSC (HONS) ACCOUNTING
Who is this course for?
This Honours Degree programme is run in conjunction with the University of Ulster and is designed for those wishing to pursue a career in accountancy or who need an understanding of accounting concepts and theories within a broad, economic, legal, social and professional environment.
The programme has been designed on a modular basis and you are required to complete a total of nineteen modules arranged in three levels of six modules in each level, with an extra module at Level 1. Exemptions from various modules may be obtained based upon prior accreditation for examinations such as IATI, HND or HNC.
How long is this course for?
This course normally takes up to 4 years to complete on a part-time evening basis. However, you may take from three to nine years according to entrance qualifications and/or the rate at which you progress through the specified modules.
What will I study?
You are required to take all modules at Level 1 and are offered an option of modules at Level 2. Level 3 is taken at the University of Ulster. Modules included in Levels 1 and 2 are:

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed on a regular basis throughout the programme using a range of appropriate assessment methods such as written and practical assignments, projects, presentations and examinations.

How do I apply?
Complete an application form (available from each campus) and return it to the Admissions Office at the Newry Campus. Applicants will be required to attend an interview.
