BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare
Introduction
The unique combination of theory and practical teaching will give you the opportunity to develop an excellent understanding of the animal world and industry. You will study species specific information, biology, anatomy and physiology, behaviour, and current animal welfare issues.
Modules are delivered through practical work, investigative research, theoretical lectures and specialist guest speakers. You will also benefit from visits to animal establishments, conferences and meetings.
You will spend most of your first year at Reaseheath, while your second and third years are based at the University of Chester. You will be assessed by a combination of assignments (including essays, reports, presentations and seminars), practical assessments and examinations.
