Your introductory first year grounds you in the main functional areas of business, so you also have the flexibility to enter any area of management or start your own tourism business


You have the option to undertake an industry work placement year to further enhance your CV and can tailor your studies to your interests with a choice of optional modules

Teaching
You learn via a combination of lectures, seminars, class exercises and case studies.
Presentations and notes are uploaded online before lectures to help you prepare.
You complete your final year project in consultation with a personal supervisor.
Assessment
You are assessed through in-class tests, coursework and end-of-year exams.
Dissertation
You undertake an applied research project, such as a tourism business plan or dissertation, in your final year. This can be on your choice of topic, but your work must be related to travel and tourism.
