Sign Language Stage 2 - SLSB11AL

Is the course for me?
To meet the required standad of competence in BSL to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in BSL as awarded by CACPD.

What will I learn?
Learn structure, vocabulary, communication tactics and general language skills to Level 2 standards of BSL.

How will I be assessed?
The qualification is in three units. For each unit there will be a practical skills assessment which will be recorded and sent to CACPD.

What can I do after the course?
Progress to Level 3 certificate in BSL / NVQ Level 3 in BSL leading to employment opportunities as a Communication Support Worker (CSW) with people. Most organisations that offer work involving contact with deaf people require candidates with a minimum of Level 2 in BSL.
