Overview

By completing placements and developing your understanding of health and safety, developments across life stages, personal and professional development and psychologic/sociological perspectives, you will be ready to work in a health or social care setting.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSE at grade C or above, including English and maths or Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Early Years Education with equivalent level 1 of English and maths. This is a one year course that is equivalent to 1.5 A levels. You will complete the 90 Credit Diploma course in your first year, and you can then progress onto our Extended Diploma Top Up qualification in your second year, in the same subject. This will help you to attain the optional units required to attain the full 3 A level equivalent qualification in your chosen subject.

One year – Full time.
