2. Course description Engineers are some of the worlds greatest innovators thinking about industrial problems exploring these challenges and creating viable solutions are what Engineers do and this requires creative individuals who can put their ideas into practice. Engineers who specialise in manufacturing concentrate on the logical processes required to take a product from concept into design production and continuous development. They may design products or the machines and systems that will produce them on a large scale. These products may be small items such as simple food packaging or containers or large machines and vehicles. This course will prepare you for work as a Junior Technician Junior Engineer Apprentice or for further study at University.The course is modular based and will allow the students to explore new and existing technologies with a mixture of theoretical and practical skills.
