BTEC Extended Diploma in Health Studies Level 3

The course includes:

• human physiology and anatomy,
• physiological disorders,
• health psychology,
• equality and diversity,
• developing effective communication in health and social care,
• nutrition for health and social care.

You will carry out a work placement, which will help you to put what you have learned at college into practice.

Entry Requirements

• A minimum of five GCSEs grade A*-C, including English language and science, and maths at grade D or above, or
• a level 2 qualification at overall merit grade, English at level 2, GCSE science, and maths at level 1.
• a satisfactory interview, and
• you will need to have a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check which the college will pay for.
