BTEC First Diploma in Art & Design
Level 2 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time

This six unit course is a very practical programme of study and will offer a basic understanding of Art and Design. Learners will develop areas of 2D and 3D Design, Art History, Photography, Textiles, Surface Design and Creative I.T. Learners will keep up to date with their progress through regular tutorials and ongoing assessment of assignment work and special projects. There will be opportunities to take part in exhibitions and educational visits. Homework or private study is required and the course offers opportunities to gain further qualifications in Key Skills Communication and Application of
Number.

Progression
Successful completion of the course may lead directly onto a National Diploma, for example in Art & Design, Fashion or Graphic Design
