Course Description
This is a practical, work-related course. You will learn through projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. You will also study for an IT qualification, as well as Communication and Number.This course makes an ideal introduction to employment, and a good basis for an advanced work-related qualification. A BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSE Grades A*- C.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Units are assessed and graded by teachers. Upon successful completion of all units, an overall grade is awarded as Pass, Merit or Distinction. You will develop strong practical performance skills in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre.
