About this course
Applicants should be a minimum of 18 years and hold one of the following qualifications:
BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in Business & Finance
Advanced GNVQ in Business
Advanced GNVQ or BTEC National Diploma of any other title
At least one GCSE A level with appropriate GCSE grades at A, B or C.
Mature candidates with appropriate work experience or other suitable experience.

Study Method:
Having successfully gained your HNC, you will now have the opportunity to specialise in a number of exciting and challenging businiess areas. For example, you could specialise in finance, HR, law, marking or general business.
Duration :Two Year Course * (1st year - 2 day HNC programme)
2nd yr: Thursday 9-5.30pm & Friday 9 - 3.30pm

Anyone seeking to enter the dynamic world of modern business will benefit from the demanding requirement of this course. The course will enable students to acquire higher level skills to build a successful career.
Assessment:
Students are continually assessed throughout the course and will also undertake a final assessment in each module. There will also be at least one major project which students must complete based on their workplace on a subject appropriate to local industry and commerce.
Course Leads To:
The Higher National Diploma is a good quality high status qualification in its own right recognised by all UK employers. Students may wish to progress to an undergraduate degree programme for which they would receive exemptions.

All these modules are compulsory and must be successfully completed to achieve the first year of study. On successful completion of year one students may claim the Higher National Certificate in Business.
You will be assessed using various methods such as reports, presentations, timed assessments, portfolio building, case studies, simulations, role play etc.
