Who is the course for?
The BTEC Introductory Diploma is for people who wish to develop underpinning knowledge and skills in health and social care to assist with progression into employment.
What is the course about?
You will study 8 core units in order to achieve the Introductory Diploma.
Units include:
- Starting work in Health and Social Care
- Working in Health and Social Care
- Developing skills in Health and Social Care
- Personal effectiveness
You will also study a range of basic skills as part of the course. Basic Skills enables you to demonstrate employability in the workplace and they are a compulsory part of the course.
