BTEC Level 2 Award in Door Supervision

Overview

This 4 day Door Supervisor course is delivered to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority.

Course Content

This qualification will be completed as two parts.

Part 1: Law, Supervisor Behaviour, Searching, Drug Awareness, Incidents, Health & Safety, Crime Scene Management, Licensing Law, Equal Opportunities, Discrimination, and Emergency procedures.

Part 2: Refusing Entry, Avoiding Conflict and Conflict Management, Litigation, Incident Handling, Control Measures, Laws of Arrest. Scenario based Incident Management.

Assessment

Each unit is assessed by a separate multiple choice test which is externally set and marked by Edexcel.

Applying for your SIA Licence

Once you have successfully completed your training you can apply to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for your Licence to Practice.

Course Fee

£200 + VAT for individuals or £1650 + VAT for in house training for up to 12 delegates. (This fee includes Registration, Assessment and Certification).
