BTEC Level 2 Certificate in IT

You will study the following externally assessed units: The Online World Technology Systems You will also study the following internally assessed units Digital Graphics Database Development A Digital Portfolio Website Development You will develop your functional skills in English and Maths or study these at GCSE. You will develop your IT skills, along with communication and employability skills. A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D including Mathematics or English, a Foundation Diploma (equivalent to 5 GCSEs at Grades D G), NVQ1 or satisfactory completion of a Foundation Learning programme at Level 1 with a minimum of 37 credits. Some courses may require the achievement of additional specific qualifications/grades. For example applicants for Level 2 practical programmes may be required to demonstrate that they have the relevant skills at Level 1. Successful completion of this course will lead to the award of a Diploma in Information and Creative Technology.
