Careers Progression: The successful completion of a Level 2 Diploma can be used as a route towards entering initial employment as a science technician or practitioner in a wide variety of roles in the science industry.

Course Description:
The structure of the course gives you a broad foundation in the theory and practice of science. You will be able to focus on your interests and explore new areas such as environmental science, forensic science, anatomy and physiology

Description Breakdown:
There are three core modules, one in each of the three sciences of biology, chemistry and physics:
-chemistry and our earth
-energy and our universe
-biology and our environment
These will give you a broad foundation in the theory and practice of science. The remaining modules are varied, IT based and include:
-using mathematical tools in science
-working in a science based organisation
-science and the world of work
