This is a Level 2 vocational qualification. It is suitable for those hoping to start a career that uses IT applications. You could also progress on to a Level 3 course such as the BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in ICT. From there you can progress into Employment or continue onto the Extended National Diploma and from there to an HNC or degree programme. Through assignments, own study, videos, guest speakers, practical work, theory work carried out over the period of the course. Specific units are deisgned to meet the needs of students at the appropriate level.
