2. Course description This exciting course is for students who learn through practicals and wishing to progress onto higher education or to enter employment as a science technician. With a strong vocational emphasis you will develop laboratory skills, time management as well as main principles of human biology, laboratory procedures, theory and applications of both chemistry and physics. 3. Entry requirements 5 GCSEs A**-C. Minimum C in maths English and either a Double Award Science or a double merit in BTEC First Extended Certificate in Applied Science. We would consider a D in maths looking at the other grades but a resit would be required in order to progress.
