I am currently studying at Blake College and I must say that, in my view, this is an awesome college! The teachers are all very understanding and I can say that this is the best college I have been two in a long time. I would highly recommend Blake College to anyone else, you really must go there, it's also the best working and learning environment I have seen so far. Thank you very much Blake College!

About this course
By the end of this course you will have an excellent Graphic Design portfolio which will help you to enter a career in the Creative industries or get into the University of your choice.
This course is intended for students who have a clear idea of the area of creative study they want and are looking to start specialising in one area by developing a portfolio. It is perfect for those who have finished school and are looking to take the next level, or for those who want to change career towards art and design.
We have no specific entry requirements but will need to see some examples of your work and usually invite potential students to an informal interview.
For non-EU students: If you need a CAS number you would have to pay £400 plus at least half of the full fees.
Also we would need a photocopy of your passport any school/university certificates, art/design/photo certificates, IELTS or any English language certificate from approved providers (check the UKVI list online) and samples of your art/design/photo work.
Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma is an internationally recognised qualification. We are accredited by Pearson.
You will work in much smaller class sizes than in most other institutions, so you will get a lot of individual attention from your tutors. Blake has a uniquely friendly and relaxed atmosphere that helps students from all backgrounds to work together and consistently gets the best out of people. All of our teachers are practising professionals so you will get the most accurate and up to date information about their artistic practice.
We will contact you to discuss your interest further. We usually ask to see some examples of your art and design work and will need a personal statement from you. You may be asked to interview (this can be over the internet). After this you will be given the opportunity to enrol and will need to pay a deposit. International students will also be asked to pay part of their fees up front and will be issued with a CAS.
