We welcome applications from sudents 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate; willingness and commitment to studying this subject at University level, and, who can evidence academic, professional or vocational experience in a related field.
Overseas students can send evidence of qualifications (IELTS 6), work experience, and portfolio electronically (or by post) to the Course Team Leader. Following receipt of this work an interview by phone will be conducted.

Description Breakdown:
To achieve a HNC, 10 unit credits are required, 5 mandatory and 5 optional depending on major.The 5 mandatory units are Analytical Methods for Engineers, Business Management Techniques, Engineering Science, Project + Engineering Principles. Optional units Mechanical â€" Materials Engineering, Design for Manufacture, Advanced Manufacturing Techniques + Programmable Logic Controllers, Engineering Design,
Electrical/Electronic â€" Electronics, Analogue and Digital circuits + devices, Operational Amplifiers + Programmable Logic Controllers, Engineering Design. In addition to these units, common skills are also assessed during the programme.
