The Theatre, Film, Events, Festivals and Music industries are at an all-time high and this provides an ever-increasing variety of career options. This practical, hands-on course offers the opportunity to study technical theatre in all production areas and to train and work in Stage Management, Lighting and Sound, Scenic Art and prop and Construction on a range of public performances. Giving you the skills required to progress into a career backstage in the creative and entertainments industry. HNDs are designed to give you the practical, vocational skills of a particular field of work which can then lead straight to a career. You can also use the qualifications to progress within your current career, for example as a stepping stone to gaining professional status. Once you complete your course HNDs can allow entry into the second or third year.

About this course

Two A Levels or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. You must possess good written and oral English and have evidence of interest / involvement in the Music Industry. You will be invited to an interview offering the chance to see our facilities. Entry is based on academic qualifications and reference.
