Darren holds several degrees in business and education and is a very experienced teacher and qualified accountant. Over the last 20 years, he has enjoyed a successful international career as a Senior Financial Manager and business lecturer in Melbourne, London, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. He has taught on MBA courses from the Leciester University Management Centre, the University of Strathclyde and the David Syme Business School at Monash University. Julia was born and educated in London. She qualified as a teacher in Australia where she lived during the 1980's and 1990's. Julia's teaching experience is extensive and varied. She has taught in the Middle East, Australia and in the UK where she held the post of Director of Studies at an independent school in North London.
William Westgate
Director of Studies and Senior Lecturer
William was born and raised in Canada. After completing his degree at the University of British Columbia he came to London and started on the Midland bank graduate training programme in 1984. For the next 20 years he rose to become Senior Vice President at HSBC. He retired from investment banking in 2004 to take up a post lecturing in business and economics at one of the UK's top performing colleges. William is a founding partner in the London College of Management and Leadership and looks forward to bringing his knowledge of industry, his enthusiasm for teaching and vast resources to LCMAL.
