The six-unit BTEC National Award offers a specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment within the sector. This award provides under pinning knowledge and understanding of the travel & tourism industry. It is suitable for those who might be interested in pursuing a career in the travel & tourism industry and wish to investigate the nature of that employment.
Assessment A mix of internal and external assessments will take place in order to gain the qualification.
The student would then have two specialist pathways to choose from in order to complete their programme of study during the final term as follows:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate - Airline cabin Crew
- NCFE Level 3 Certificate - On-Tour managers
