BTEC National Certificate Business (Edexcel)
You will learn about the practical skills needed in business. The course is made up of Twelve units; four Core Units provide a general foundation and eight Specialist units introduce learners to particular topics in more depth. You will also take part in practical activities such as planning and running a business.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be through coursework and you will need to produce a portfolio of work for each of the units. All units are internally set, assessed and graded by teachers. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Where can I go after completing the course?
After the successful completion of the course you will be able to progress on to University to study a course in the area of business or take up employment within various businesses where there are a wide range of opportunities.
