Who the Course is For:
The BTEC National Certificate is a technician level part time course. The student learns by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area you have chosen, you develop the skills you need to start or progress in an engineering career.
Assessment:
Continual assessment processes including assignments, and the assessment of any practical or theoretical projects and laboratory investigations. Some units involve tests and examinations.
Course Leads To:
Promotion in the Engineering Industry at Technician Level, HNC or Foundation Degree.
