Building from the five core underpinning units, you will be prepared during your first year to start to take more responsibility over your educational direction in the second year, through set projects and direct guidance.

All the projects are justified with an industrial context to them, allowing us to develop your understanding of the industry while developing your design skills, and gaining a recognised National qualification.

HOW WILL I LEARN?
Practical and theoretical work is integrated throughout the course with individual project work forming a large part of your studies, supported by workshops, lectures, demonstrations and tutorials. Key Skill opportunities for development are clearly in-bedded within the main set work for the qualification as are additional studies and qualifications.

This course allows students to have a greater choice in their areas of progression by being broad based and prepares them for entering into Higher Education or employment.
