This course will give students a wide understanding of a variety of engineering disciplines. During this two year course of study eighteen units will need to be completed, which could include: Business systems or technicians. Mathematics for technicians. Science for technicians. Communications for technicians. Mechanical principles. Project. Engineering materials. Electrical and electronic principles. Engineering design. Computer aided drawing. Electro, pneumatics and hydraulic systems and devices. Programmable controllers. Electrical Installation. Electrical applications. Three-Phase systems. Structure and properties of metals. There is also a need to fulfil Key/Functional skills in Numeracy ICT and Communications.
