This is a rewarding and challenging course that prepares students for a career working in a caring environment.

What will I study?
The course looks at many areas including:
· Human Anatomy
· Physiology
· Lifespan Development
· Diet & Nutrition
· Health Psychology
Students will also have the opportunity to gain experience in a range of health and social care settings in order to relate theory to practice and explore career options. This will be a one day a week placement with some block weeks.

What next?
On successful completion of the course students will be able to progress on to Higher Education or training in such areas as nursing, social work, occupational therapy, hospital management or enter careers in housing services or community care.
