The BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies is designed to prepare learners to work in health-related careers, in a professional capacity. These transferrable skills provide the knowledge, skills and understanding required for working in a social care environment and are designed to provide a contribution to the underpinning knowledge for the level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.

The BTEC National Diploma in Care is a 18 unit national qualification of comprising ten core units and eight specialist units:

Course Requirements:
Who is this course for?
Candidates must be aged 16 or over and hold one of the following:

- BTEC Cerificate in Health Studies
- 3 GCSEs at grade C or above
- a BTEC First qualification in a related vocational area
- related work experience
