Course Structure
In order to gain a full BTEC National Diploma in Media Moving Image these units will be studied; Students take four core units: *Understanding the Media, *Research Techniques#, *Media Skills Workshop#, *Professional Practice in the Media Industry. # These units contribute towards the externally assessed assignment. Students also take fourteen specialist units from the following subject areas: *Production Management and techniques, *Filming and camera work, *Video Editing, *Animation, *Writing for Television and Video, *Film and Television Studies. A final major project is undertaken in the second year of the course. All units are assessed and graded, and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
