The BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology offers you the chance to operate at the cutting edge of music technology. You will have a unique, hands-on opportunity to make your own music, add music to film soundtracks, mix and record in one of the three college studios.

Your course includes modules in:

· Sequencing
· Sampling
· Recording studio techniques
· Mixing
· Production techniques
· Sound design
· Synthesis
· Music/sound for film and television.

You will be given the opportunity to achieve additional qualifications
alongside which include Functional Skills.

How will I be assessed?
This qualification is assessed on a continuous basis through practical and written assignments and continuous assessment by our staff and external moderators through practical and written assignments, with an emphasis on practical work.

Progress to a degree level course such as the FdA in Music Production that we offer in partnership with Bath Spa University. This is a popular course for many of our students.
