Course Content: This course is suited to anyone with a passion for dance and those students who are interested in pursuing a career in dance or studying dance at degree level. Although it is predominately practical by nature you will take part in theory sessions to deepen your understanding of dance. Units that you will study include:

· Dance performances

· Contemporary dance techniques

· Classical ballet techniques

· horeographing dances

· Urban dance

· Jazz dance

· Tap dance

· Dance appreciation

Special Features: You will be required to purchase and wear specialist dance uniform and shoes which are fundamental to your studies.

Course Format: The majority of your learning will take place in the dance studio where you will develop specific dance techniques and skills. You will also learn through rehearsing and performing.
