This is a sports science based course that combines both academic study and the development of practical skills and knowledge.

· Anatomy for sport and exercise
· Nutrition for sport and exercise
· Fitness testing
· Sport massage
· Exercise health and lifestyle
· Biomechanics
· Sports injuries
· Practical sport performance
· Sport industry experience.

In addition to this course you may be given the opportunity to study for a number of additional qualifications including Functional Skills.

How will I be assessed?
This qualification is assessed by coursework, which includes projects, assignments, presentations and practical activities. Tutors set the coursework for all units.
