Course Description
This course has both practical and theoretical components. Entry Requirements
At least 5 GCSEs at Grade C, one of which must be English. Or Level 2 skills/craft qualification (eg NVQ 2 or relevant work experience).

  • Sports Development
  • Practical individual sport

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Assessed through a number of different assessments, which include essays, presentations, practical demonstrations, witness testimonies and log books. The assignments are based around the course content and are as realistic as possible.

Progression Routes: Fitness Instructor, Sports Coach, Sports Development Officer, Sports Therapist, or on to University to become a PE Teacher, Sports Nutritionalist or Sports Scientist.
