Description of the Course

· Understanding Behaviour in Public Service Employment
· Diversity and the Public Services
· Custodial Care of Individuals
· Understanding the Criminal Justice system and Police Powers
· Responding to Emergency Service Incidents
· The Planning for and Management of Major Incidents

Assessment
Students are required to complete a portfolio (file) containing evidence of assignments, multiple choice question tests, presentations, leadership tasks, group exercises and practical work.
