Each block is one term of 13 weeks
ONE YEAR = BTEC CERTIFICATE (two 'A' Levels) three blocks
18 MONTHS = BTEC DIPLOMA (three 'A' Levels) plus remaining two blocks

Training involves a high percentage of HANDS-ON CONSTRUCTION and PRACTICAL WORK.

The course contains considerable practical work involving scientific apparatus, breadboards, components and test equipment (scopes, signal generators, multimeters etc) will be carried out to complement the underpinning theoretical knowledge and skills.

Assessment is continuous and based on formal assignments with direct practical application plus a construction project marked both in college and externally.
