This course is project based. Each project runs for 6 weeks, culminating in presentation, assessment and teacher and peers feedback. The objective is to equip each student with skills and both theoretical and practical knowledge in various aspect of Digital Media. With access to photography studio and equipment, all students can use their time outside of classes to work on their projects. Suitable for: All people interested in Digital Media and/or wishing to enter Higher Education.

About this course

By the end of this course you will have an excellent Digital Media portfolio which will help you to get enter a career in the Creative industries or get into the University of your choice.

For non-EU students: If you need a CAS number you would have to pay £400 plus at least half of the full fees.
Also we would need a photocopy of your passport any school/university certificates, art/design/photo certificates, IELTS or any English language certificate from approved providers (check the UKVI list on the website) and samples of your art/design/photo work. You can send all by email.
By the new UKVI regulations students should have a good standard of English (at least B1 level) which is the Cambridge ESOL, IELTS mini. 4.0, TOEFL 437-473 or Middle Intermediate Level.

Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma is an internatioanlly recognised qualification. Accredited by Pearson.

You will work in much smaller class sizes than in most other institutions, so you will get a lot of individual attention from your tutors. Blake has a uniquely friendly and relaxed atmosphere that helps students from all backgrounds to work together.

We will contact you to discuss your interest further. We usually ask to see some examples of your art and design work and will need a personal statement from you. You may be asked to interview (this can be over the internet). After this you will be given the opportunity to enrol and will need to pay a deposit. International students will also be asked to pay part of their fees up front and will be issued with a CAS.
