Why is it that there are some people that we just don't seem to hit it off with easily, whilst with others we manage to create rapport with ease? Why do we sometimes find it difficult to relate to others and to understand their point of view? Sometimes it even feels that we could be talking another language.  
 
As the workplace becomes more culturally, behaviourally and educationally diverse, more versatile interaction is essential to the success of your organisation. The Behavioural Matrix helps participants identify their own quadrant and that of others, and how to use this knowledge to develop for more effective and productive working relationships. Each person is profiled by a selection of their colleagues prior to attending.
 
Core Seminar Modules
 
 
 
Module 1 : Dimensions of the Behavioural Matrix  
 
-Identify different comfort zones and perceptions of behaviour
-Recognise the behavioural characteristics of energy and emotion
-Learn one’s own Behavioural Matrix quadrant as perceived by others
-Appreciate quadrant strengths and practice quadrant recognition
-Understand versatility
 
This module also includes an instrument to identify participants Behavioural Matrix quadrant. Profile results are distributed, processed and discussed during the programme and greatly aid participants' learning.
 
 
 
Module 2 : Building on Behavioural Matrix Differences  
 
-Expand on the application of the versatility to specific participant examples
-Advance practice in style modification
-Identify and practice the versatile strategies appropriate for working with each quadrant
 
Module 3 : Managing Quadrants in Conflict
 
 
 
-Recognise how tension affects behaviour in relation to the Behavioural Matrix
-Learn strategies to manage and reduce conflict in interactions
-Practice applying strategies to handle tension and keep relationships productive  
 
Learning Methods  
 
The core seminar features a variety of practical methods which appeal to adult learners, which include small group discussion and problem solving, case method, modelling video and skill practice. These methods are designed to help the participant learn from their past experiences and apply new concepts to their world.
