Course programme
Research has shown that workplace bullying and harassment costs UK organisations around £2b per year. Around 19 million days are lost because of abuse that results in accidents and mistakes, increased sick leave, lost productivity and higher recruitment costs.
Workplace Bullying and Harassment awareness training is effective in helping promote positive behaviours at work and reducing the chance of litigation. The NNTC provides training for both staff and managers and have also produced a highly praised training resource for those organisations wishing to run these courses themselves.
The aim of these courses is to help identify workplace bullying behaviour and those organisational elements that allow it to flourish and take a proactive approach to tackling these issues before they arise. Additionally the courses consider the organisational responses required to eliminate workplace bullying and harassment whilst providing the person being bullied a guide for managing it.
The courses are run in an interactive student-centred style with all assurances given to create a safe learning environment. Wherever possible the delegate's attention will be directed towards the organisations' workplace Bullying and Harassment Policy to ensure accurate knowledge of their roles and responsibilities towards creating a safe working environment free from harassment.
