This course is a practical work related course; learners learn by completing projects and assignments based on realistic work place simulations, activities and demands. The course has been designed to give you an insight into the various theories and techniques used to run a successful business. Trips to businesses and visiting speakers provide you with an insight into the application of these theories and techniques in the workplace. Subjects such as Business Management, Human Resources, Business Enterprise, Economics, Marketing and Finance are taught as part of the course. You will also undertake a course of Skills for Life", giving employability skills, these include numeracy, communication and IT, which will complement your vocational training.
