What are the main features of this course?
The Course offers a general introduction to the nature of business, followed by an opportunity to study certain aspects in greater depth and to investigate real business problems.
The first year is the AS level course which is made up of two modules.
Module 1: An introduction to Business
Module 2: Business Functions
Students who want to achieve the 'A' level then take a second year.
You will study two further modules. One of these will be Strategic Management where you will be expected to make connections between different elements of the whole course.
Hours of Lessons per Week : 4.7 Indicative Group Size : 20
How is the course assessed?
The course is modular with two modules examined in each year. Modules will be examined in January and June. Modules are examined through data response or questions related to a business case study.
