At an advanced level, you’ll study of a range of organisations and the rapidly changing environments in which they operate both nationally and internationally. You’ll specialise by studying and researching within the field of international business.

Expect to enhance your academic research skills and practical management skills. You’ll need these in order to manage human resources, use complex organisational systems and face the challenging issues affecting business in a rigorous, pragmatic and effective manner.

The MA Business and Management programme is designed to prepare participants for a wide range of careers in general management across all industry sectors. It will prepare you for entry level into management and ready you for progression to middle management positions. The advanced learning that it provides delivers practical management based skills and techniques that are directly applicable to a wide range of occupations. The content of the programme is directly applicable to those who wish to work in business start-up, small and medium size business management and multi-national corporates.

Study within the specialist International Business pathway allows for further concentration of skills and techniques in helping you to develop transferrable intellectual vocational and interpersonal skills appropriate for careers in international management and cross-culture management for both international organisations and domestic organisations that conduct international business or intend to extend their activities into the international market.

Study within the specialist International Business pathway also applies to those participants who wish to work in a self-employed capacity in all industries or be a freelancer in the creative and performing arts sectors.
