This is a practical work-related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations and activities.

All units are internally assessed and graded by your teachers.

Who should study this course?
You will need to have D or E grades at GCSE level. For your benefit, we want to know that you have competence in English (GCSE D) and basic numeracy; or that you have successfully completed a BTEC Introductory course at Merit Level (Level 1).

Where can I go next?
The BTEC First Diploma in Business gives a good preparation for employment into business related careers such as accounting, administration, customer service, finance, IT, personnel or sales. It also provides a basis for level three courses such as the BTEC National Diploma in Business.
