What are the main features of this course?
The course encourages students from all backgrounds to develop the personal skills and qualities needed for work and learning. It is a one-year full time course and examines many aspects of working in organisations and a variety of business situations.

The course consists of 8 units.

How is the course assessed?
Assessment is continuous, being based on a number of assignments completed throughout the course.

Who should study this course?
No specific qualifications are needed, but, for your benefit, we want to know that you have competence in English and basic numeracy.

Where can I go next?
BTec Introductory is a starting point from which you can progress to Btec 1st, then BTec National and finally on to Higher Education, if you wish, or you may want to consider NVQ Administration or further training.
