5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, (taken at one sitting) including English Language and Mathematics or a BTEC First Diploma at Merit in a related area. COURSE OUTLINE This is a two-year course for students who have decided that they wish to follow a business career in a variety of areas of management or administration. Awarding Body: Edexcel

Additional Unit:
Beginners Italian NVQ Level 1.

Assessment:
All units, apart from Italian, will be assessed through coursework, which will be marked internally but moderated externally. Italian will be assessed through oral tests.

Achievement:
Students who complete the core and two specialist units will achieve the BTEC National Award. Students who complete the core and eight specialist units will achieve the BTEC National Certificate.

Students who complete the core and fourteen specialist units will achieve the BTEC National Diploma.
