Introduction

The Business English course improves your general English and develops the language skills required for the workplace. The course will give you an insight into the speaking, reading, writing and listening skills needed at a business level. Our course is designed to enable students to use English confidently in both professional and social situations, such as presentations, meetings, negotiations, telephoning in English and networking.

The Business English course will increase confidence in all aspects of your English, building upon essential language skills needed for professional use.
Our experienced teachers will support your learning throughout the course, making it an enjoyable path into part of your career building.

The course is particularly tailored to meet the needs of a constantly changing business environment. The minimum entry requirement level for this course is intermediate. If you are not sure of your current level, we will offer you a placement test to verify it. The course may be completed in 3 or 6 months. There are short revision tests at the end of every week to monitor your progress, and you will be given an exam at the end of the course.

Filled with motivation and encouragement you will certainly achieve your ambitions, become a confident user of English in the business environment and integrate fully into British/Irish culture.

Course objectives

Achieving the above stated course objectives would need at least 2-3 hours of additional study time per day.

You can join a course every first Monday of the month at Grafton College Dublin. Commencement dates at London campus are flexible.
