What will I be doing on the course?

In addition to lectures there will be the opportunity to work as a consultant for local businesses, participate in challenging simulations and exercises and to develop your creative and enterprising skills through workshops and activities.

How do I study the course?

Students are based at the Camborne campus, benefiting from new facilities and buildings, such as an arts and media centre, along with a student bar, artificial turf pitch and new lecture theatres, making the learning experience one of the best in the county. This is a 1-Year full-time course (part-time also available), which is usually taught on three days per week, starting in September. Most students will qualify for a Student Loan. Applications for this course, except for the majority of students already studying at Cornwall College, should be made through UCAS - you can obtain an application form from UCAS or your local Careers Advice Centre.

What can I do after this course?

Relevant job opportunities exist in all sectors of industry, commerce and public service. Graduates from similar courses have entered careers in accounting, marketing, general management, local government, national health and teaching. Other areas include the police force, customs and excise, hotel management, hospitality management and management consultancy. There are also opportunities to take professional qualifications within the college in marketing, law, education, management and accountancy.
