BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT TECHNIQUES LEVEL 2 (PROCESS IMPROVEMENT PATHWAY)
Entry Requirements
An interview is required.
There are no
entry requirements or age restrictions for this qualification. They are
open to any candidate who has the potential to meet the requirements for
the qualification.
Description
The primary objective of the
qualification is to improve business performance as a whole. This can only
be done by empowering the people who make up the organisation; this means
the top management, middle management, supervision and all other employees
who will have a part to play in improving the performance of their
business. In order for businesses to conform to this new image things will
have to change. The change starts with the Business Improvement Techniques
qualification, which enables companies to train their staff towards the
competencies they will need to achieve this qualification. The
qualification is not an alternative to any other qualification but sits
alongside the qualifications their staff already have or are working
towards or indeed skills that are not at present recognised by formal
certification. It is intended to maximise the company profits and revenues
by the elimination of waste and the creation of flow effective use of
people and physical asset.
