The Programme
The course provides the knowledge, understanding and practical skills for learners wishing to enter a career in business. The qualification provides opportunities to explore specialist areas, therefore broadens your experience of business activity.
The Programme Content
Within the course you will study essential Business core units and specialist units. Both include areas of Business Management, such as Marketing, Business Planning, Human Resources Management, Finance and e-Business. Your learning will take place using a variety of methods that combine theory and practice, allowing you to investigate business opportunities. You will also get the opportunity to demonstrate your business skills during a period of work based learning.
Progression / Careers
The Business course provides you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will be required in a variety of business occupations. Some students progress to further study at University; others enter the world of banking, retail management, accountancy training, administration and marketing occupations.
